The Rocket Club builds and flies model rockets. A strict safety procedure is followed. Students who violate safety policy are not permitted to participate.

The models vary in size from several inches to several feet. They are recovered through the use of parachutes and re-fly many times.

The solid propelled engines impart a thrust that lifts the models 300 to 400 feet safely and with little risk to anyone.
