The nutrition club provides students the opportunity to become better informed about the foods they choose to eat and the effect those foods have on their bodies. At monthly meetings and through trips to local restaurants, students are exposed to healthful alternatives to the less nutritious foods in the typical teenage American diet. Students share their own tips and tricks for incorporating healthy foods into their lifestyles and analyze each others' meals to find more nutritious substitutions. The goal of our club is to provide students with the information they will need to make healthy eating a permanent part of their lives.
